London—Mineral companies affiliated with Iranian state mines and metals holding company Imidro produced 20.96 million mt of iron ore pellet in the first six months of the current Iranian year (to September 22), down 2% year on year, according to the holding entity. Some 23.74 million mt of concentrated iron ore, 4% more than the previous year, were also produced in the same period, as well as 13.78 million mt of direct-reduced iron (DRI) for an 9% on-year increase.
