Yokohama—Nissan Motor has achieved weight reduction of its cars by using high-tensile steel for body and structures, the automaker said during its presentation at the Automotive Engineering Exhibition 2019 in Yokohama in Japan on Wednesday. Nissan's Infiniti QX50 sports utility vehicle, which was released in March 2018, achieved a weight reduction of 23 kg by using more high- tensile steel, the company said.
