Australian mining behemoth Rio Tinto plans to expand its supply chain at Chinese ports and develop a portside trading mobile application, the company’s sales and marketing vice president, Simon Farry, said at the CISA conference in Qingdao Thursday. Rio Tinto will increase the number of Chinese ports in which it sells and plans to "develop a mobile trading platform which we hope would transform our customer's buying experience," Farry said.
