Singapore—Seaborne metallurgical coal prices fell Tuesday due to a paucity of buyers. S&P Global Platts assessed Premium Low Vol down $5.50/mt at $146.50/mt CFR China, and the PLV FOB Australia price dropped 25 cents to $132.75/mt Tuesday. In China, a buy tender for 85,000 mt of Australian Premium Low Vol Peak Downs by a Northeast Chinese steelmaker concluded at $147.50/mt CFR China for November 10-December 10 laycan. This came with sellers' option to deliver Saraji at $146.50/ mt CFR China.
