Philippine Nickel Asia to cut exports, supply more domestically

Nickel Asia, the largest nickel producer in the Philippines, plans to cut exports in 2019 while increasing supplies by as much as 14% to its affiliates Coral Bay and Taganito refineries compared with 2018, the company said Tuesday. Coral Bay and Taganito refineries operate high-pressure-acid-leach (HPAL) nickel ore processing plants, producing intermediate nickel products for batteries.
