Import prices for Turkish ferrous scrap eased a touch Wednesday as Turkish buyers showed little buying interest after the national holiday on the previous day. S&P Global Platts assessed Turkish imports of premium heavy melting scrap 1/2 (80:20) at $311.75/mt CFR Wednesday, down 50 cents on the day. Despite some anticipation of stronger trading activity for the rest of this week, Turkish mills remained largely on the sidelines Wednesday.
