Singapore—The Asian seaborne iron ore market fell Thursday on a weak steel market outlook and reduced demand for late- September loading cargoes. S&P Global Platts assessed the 62% Fe Iron Ore Index at $81.45/dry mt CFR North China Thursday, down $2.05/dmt from Wednesday. The front-month September TSI swap was down 90 cents/dmt from Wednesday to $80.55/dmt Thursday.
