Iran will increase the export duty on all non-processed raw materials including iron ore from the beginning of the next Iranian year (March 21, 2019), according to the IRNA news agency, which cited Jafar Sargheini, a deputy at the mines and industries ministry. The export duty on non-concentrated iron ore is 5% now and will be increased to 8%. Sargheini is also reported as saying that the duty will be increased from 8% to 10% from March 2020 as well.
