London—Prices for Turkish ferrous scrap imports were unchanged Wednesday amid limited market activity. S&P Global Platts assessed Turkish imports of premium heavy melting scrap 1/2 (80:20) at $299.50/mt CFR, unchanged from Tuesday. Since the last concluded deals on December 13, little trading interest has been observed on both the sell- and the buy-side on the back of the approaching holidays as procurement for January shipment is largely completed.
