The rise in Turkish domestic rebar prices continued Monday, with some mills and stockists increasing prices again on the back of a depreciating lira and continuing availability issues. Some sources attributed the rise also to gradually strengthening scrap pricing. The lira has weakened further, trading in the range of TRY 3.91-3.92/$1 at 3pm Monday local time compared to a $3.86-3.87/$1 range last Friday.
