CIS coil prices remain stable but slab shoots up

Heavy Russian hot rolled coil for April production and May shipment has been marketed for $645/mt CFR Turkey, with sales of just over 20,000 mt concluded at $640/mt CFR, equating to $625/mt FOB Black Sea, sources told S&P Global Platts Friday. Smaller coils from Russia and Ukraine are available for $620/mt CFR ($605/mt FOB Black Sea), with lots below 10,000 mt sold at this level.
