One of Turkey's largest steel billet and bar producers, Izmir Demir Celik (IDC), which stopped production at its bar rolling mill last week due to falling sales volumes, amid the COVID-19 outbreak, has also decided to pause its meltsop and medium section mill as of April 8 amid the expanding virus outbreak, S&P Global Platts learned.
