S Korea's Sep vehicle output rebounds 23%, ending five months of decline

South Korea's vehicle production in September rebounded 23.2% to 342,489 units, ending five months of decline, on higher domestic demand and exports, data from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy showed Oct. 19. Domestic sales rose 22.2% from September 2019 to 162,716 units and 20.2% month on month, while exports grew 14.8% year on year to 193,081 units and soared 48% from August.
