The Taiwanese domestic scrap market slipped further Monday amid news of additional price cuts from one of the island’s leading electric arc furnace steelmaker, Feng Hsin Iron and Steel, sources said. Feng Hsin will reduce its bids effective Tuesday for domestic HMS I/II 80:20 scrap to T$7,200/mt ($238/mt), down T$200/mt from a week ago, for delivered to its Taichung mill.
