Worthington buys majority interest in steel pickling JV

Worthington Industries has acquired a majority ownership of Samuel Steel Pickling, a joint-ventureWorthington has had with Samuel, Son & Co. since 2010, the Ohio-based steel service center chainsaid Monday.Worthington now owns a 63% interest in the joint venture, while Samuel, Son & Co. holds a 37%interest. As a result, the venture will now be known as Worthington Samuel Coil Processing.
