Ford on Tuesday said it is further delaying the restart of production at its North American plants amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. On March 26 the company said it was aiming to resume production at its Hermosillo Assembly Plant in Mexico on April 6 with one shift, with production at certain US facilities expected to begin April 14. Ford on Tuesday said the postponed startup dates will be announced at a later time.
