European hot-dip galvanized coil prices stayed relatively stable Wednesday, despite limited new orders from the construction and automotive sectors, with market participants awaiting further fiscal support initiatives from governments, sources told S&P Global Platts. A Nordic buyer noted he did not see a significant reduction in hot-dipped galvanized material compared to cold-rolled material, and said that sellers were less willing to "budge on price" despite the longer lead times associated with galvanized products.
