JFE Shoji to establish steel service center in Mexico

JFE Shoji Trade Corp., JFE Steel group's trading company, announced will establish a steelservice center in Mexico with Mexican pipe producer Productos Laminados de Monterry(Prolamsa) to process mainly galvanized sheet produced by Nucor-JFE Steel Mexico, the50:50 joint venture owned by JFE Steel and Nucor Corp.The new service center named JFE Shoji Steel Service Center Bajio S.A.P.I DE C.V will beat Silao, Guanajato, which is located adjacent to Nucor-JFE Steel Mexico. JFE ShojiAmerica has a 95% stake in the service center with PROLAMSA Group taking the remaining5% interest.
