US hot-dip galvanized sheet prices continued to fall Monday, dropping for the sixth weekand down by more than $100/st since the end of July.The weekly Platts TSI US HDG price dropped by $25.25/st to $732.25/st, which includes aG90 coating weight extra. The zinc-based extra is approximately $70/st above the base prices.Mills were lowering base prices throughout last week, according to buy-side sources. AMidwest service center source indicated a tradable value of $660/st, excluding the coating-weight extra. He noted it was an easily achievable spot price. The price was down from$680/st toward the beginning of last week.
