S. Korea adds fresh measures to support shipbuilders

South Korea has introduced several new measures to support small and mid-sizeddomestic shipbuilders, in addition to those announced in November 2018, the Ministry ofTrade, Industry and Energy said.The new measures include an investment of Won 69.2 billion ($59.8 million) onenvironmentally-friendly vessels such as LNG-powered ships. Back in November, theministry introduced a similar slew of measures which included investments of Won 2.8trillion to build infrastructure for LNG ships.
