China pushes government bond issuance to fund infrastructure

China's central government will bring forward the release of part of its 2020 localgovernment bonds quota to late 2019 in a bid to support infrastructure construction after asustained period of low investment growth, a National Bureau of Statistics spokesman saidthis week.Cuts to taxes and administrative fees for both companies and individuals have crimpedlocal government revenues in 2019, constraining their investment in infrastructure, thespokesman said.
