Vale resumes rail freight operations on Brazil's EFVM branch

Brazil’s Vale resumed regular freight train operations on the Belo Horizonte branch line ofthe Vitória-Minas Railroad (EFVM) Thursday, the iron ore miner said.Operations were resumed after an independent international consultancy firm testified thatthe railroad would not be affected by any movement generated by mine wall slippage atthe nearby Gongo Soco mine, Vale said in a statement.
