Insight: Turkish rebar exports rise despite barriers

Turkish mills managed to increase their rebar export volumes in the first seven months ofthe year on market diversification and competitive pricing, despite facing trade barriers intheir main export markets.According to the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data sent to S&P Global Platts,Turkish mills' rebar exports in the first seven months of the year reached 3.34 million mt,higher than the 3.24 million mt exported in the same period the previous year.
