China’s new home price rises stall in June

Chinese new home prices, excluding government-subsidized housing, rose in June on themonth before in 63 of the 70 Chinese cities monitored by the National Bureau of Statistics(NBS), four less than in May. Prices fell in five cities and were unchanged in two.New home prices in June increased 0.2% on month in four first tier cities, down 0.1percentage points compared with the previous month. Prices were up 0.8% in 31 secondtier cities, and the rises were the same for the third straight month.
