Iran will increase iron ore export duty next month

Iran will increase the export duty on all non-processed raw materials including iron orefrom the beginning of the next Iranian year (March 21, 2019) according to the IRNA newsagency, which cited Jafar Sargheini, a deputy at the mines and industries ministry.The export duty on non-concentrated iron ore is 5% now and will be increased to 8%.Sargheini is also reported as saying that the duty will be increased from 8% to 10% fromMarch 2020 as well.
