Higher demand from the European Union continued to support Turkey's coated coil exportvolumes in the first month of 2019. Turkish producers exported 129,000 mt of coated coilsin January, more than double on year, but lower than 180,000 mt exported in December2018.Turkish coated coil producers shipped 1.33 million mt of coated coils in 2018, 35% higheryear on year, on notably higher south European demand, as Platts has reported.
