Turkish HRC prices in free fall, some export sales heard

Turkish domestic and export HRC prices continued to fall throughout the past week amidongoing domestic and export market slackness, competitive import offers, and the sharpdecline seen in scrap prices.Mill offer prices to the Turkish domestic market declined to $480-$485/mt ex-works, whilesome mills' HRC export offers fell as low as $470/mt FOB and even lower for large tonnagebookings Friday, both down around $25/mt on week. Some export sales to differentlocations were heard in the last days of the week but the tonnages were not very large.
