Turkish mills have managed to increase their rebar and wire rod export volumes in the firstfive months of the year on market diversification and competitive pricing, despite tradebarriers they have faced in their main export markets.Turkish exporters have focused on alternative markets in Southeast Asia, the Caribbeanand South America during the period to offset the decline seen in some of their mainexport markets, particularly the US.
