WTO offers mixed ruling in US-China duty dispute

The World Trade Organization this week issued a mixed ruling concerning UScountervailing duties on a number of Chinese products, including steel imports.In a dispute settlement request dating back to September 2012, China challenged variousaspects of the US countervailing investigations on certain Chinese exports, including steelpressure pipe, line pipe, oil country tubular goods, wire strand, seamless pipe and drillpipe.
