A ventilation accident at a coal mine in Yangquan city in north China's Shanxi province on 5August resulted in two deaths. It also caused the provincial government to halt production atall mines in the region for safety inspections. The stoppage may push up local PCI prices inthe city, a major anthracite coal producing region.
