摘要

A polarizer element with subwavelength nanostructured indium-tin-oxide grating for visible light (lambda = 532 nm) is designed and fabricated to convert circularly polarized light into radially and azimuthally polarized light. To analyze the optical performance, a mathematical model is developed for the subwavelength nanostructured grating. Parameters associated with the polarized beam generated by the element are measured in the experiment, and optical characteristics of the element are discussed.
