Mesoporous ZnO nanoparticles co-doped with indium and sulphur is prepared via hydrothermal method. Effect of co-doping on the photocatalytic action of the pure mesoporous ZnO is examined against methylene blue and malachite green dye. Study of the samples through X-ray diffraction tool shows the existence of hexagonal wurtzite crystal structure along with a crystallite size of 19.08-28.91 nm. Optical properties are studied by using UV-vis and PL spectroscopy. Mesoporous morphology and hexagonal structure are shown by the SEM & TEM images respectively. Surface area, pore radius, and pore volume are determined by the study of the nitrogen adsorption-desorption data.
