Crude oil exports from Russia are expected to drop by almost 100,000 b/d year on year in 2018, largely due to the Opec/non-Opec production agreement, which was recently renewed to remove another 1.2 million b/d from the market. Transneft head Nikolai Tokarev said Friday he expected exports via the firm's pipeline network to be 5 million tons (100,400 b/d) lower this year compared to 2017. Transneft expects shipments to average 479 million tons (9.61 million b/d), including 229 million tons (4.59 million b/d) of exports.
