Jones Sees 'Drillco' Financing Plan Fall Through

Struggling producer Jones Energy has been dealt another blow after a financing arrangement it was counting on to fund operations in the Anadarko Basin of Oklahoma failed to close. Jones has been undertaking a strategic review since last year and has said one of the options would be to form a "drillco" that would finance drilling and production in exchange for a working interest in the wells (OD Nov.28'17).
