Argentina’s government has modified an agreement it struck with major gasoline retailers last month to hold down prices at the pump. On Friday evening, the energy ministry announced that, as of Jun. 2, gasoline prices in the country would increase up to 5%, with diesel seeing as much as a 4.5% hike.
