UK independent Ophir has farmed out 40% of its newly acquired exploration acreage in Equatorial Guinea to the US’ Kosmos Energy, which last year bought the nearby producing Ceiba and Okume fields from the US’ Hess with its partner Trident (OD Oct.24’17).
