Texas-based pressure-pumper FTS International has launched an initial public offering (IPO) of shares in hopes it can ride a new wave of enthusiasm in equity markets for oil-field services stocks. FTS, which ranks among the top five hydraulic fracturing companies by fleet size, hopes to raise nearly $270 million in its IPO, based on the midpoint of its intended pricing range of $15-$18 per share.
