EnCap Flatrock Closes $3.25B Midstream Fund

EnCap Flatrock, a major private equity (PE) player in the midstream space, has closed its Fund IV, a $3.25 billion fund that exceeded its initial $3 billion cap within six months. The group’s previous fund closed in May 2014 at $3 billion. Since its inception in 2008, EnCap Flatrock has obtained almost $9 billion in commitments from more than 300 investors.
