North Dakota crude output rose again in November, keeping the US' second biggest oil-producing state on track to break its monthly record, set at the height of the shale boom, later this year. Producers in the state, home to most of the Bakken Shale, pumped around 1.19 million barrels per day in November, up about 1% from October, according to the latest figures published by North Dakota's Department of Mineral Resources (DMR).
