US Proposes Largest Offshore Plan in History

US President Donald Trump's administration released a landmark oil and gas leasing plan on Thursday that opens up waters that have gone unexplored for decades, including the entire Pacific and Atlantic and the Eastern Gulf near Florida (OD Dec.12'17). The only federal waters excluded from the plan - still in draft form - are in the Aleutian Basin offshore southwestern Alaska.
