Latin America-focused independent GeoPark has discovered oil at an onshore appraisal well drilled in the Tigana oil field in Colombia’s Llanos Basin. GeoPark announced Wednesday that a production test at its Tigana Norte 4 well in the Llanos 34 block yielded about 1,900 b/d of heavy crude, with an API gravity of 14.1°.
