Mexico Launches Deepwater Farm-Out for Pemex

Mexico’s upstream regulator, the CNH, has approved plans to auction off an operating stake in a key deepwater oil block held by state Pemex. On Friday, CNH commissioners approved a plan by Pemex to farm out a 51% operating interest in the Nobilis-Maximino block, located in the Gulf of Mexico’s Perdido Fold Belt.
