US Oil Output Returns to Pre-Harvey Levels

Production of crude oil in the US jumped back above 9.5 million barrels per day during the latest week, data from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) show, effectively restoring it back to its level before Hurricane Harvey. Data from the EIA show that US crude output improved by 157,000 b/d to 9.510 million b/d during the week ended Sep. 15.
