Global benchmark Brent continued to gain ground on Tuesday, with the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey helping oil to break through technical resistance. But crude’s strength is likely to be short-lived, traders and analysts said. "Harvey is the catalyst that has driven the buyers to chase the market,” said Brian Larose of United Icap. He noted that from a technical perspective, the market usually experiences a seasonal advance, and Harvey triggered that move this year.
