GOP Governor Supports Frack Ban

Republican Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan has announced his “full support” for bills in the state House and Senate that would ban hydraulic fracturing. One bill has already passed in the state’s House of Delegates and another is pending in the Senate. "The choice to me is clear. Either you support a ban on fracking or you are for fracking. Our administration has concluded that the possible environmental risks of fracking simply outweigh any potential benefits,” Hogan said (OD Mar.15’17).
