Campaign Group Pulls UK Anti-Fracking Ad

Environmental group Friends of the Earth has agreed to withdraw all claims it made in an anti-fracking leaflet after the UK's Advertising Standards Authority found them to be misleading. The authority conducted an investigation after receiving complaints about the leaflet, including one from shale explorer Cuadrilla Resources. It said on Wednesday the case was "informally resolved" after Friends of the Earth "agreed not to repeat the claims."
