Crestwood Consolidates in Powder River

Crestwood Equity Partners has bought out Williams, its partner in a Powder River Basin joint venture set up last year, in a $485 million deal. The acquisition positions Jackalope Gas Gathering Services for long-term growth in the basin by supporting the development plans of companies like Chesapeake Energy, Crestwood said in a statement. In September, Williams and Crestwood announced their venture to increase Jackalope’s capacity to 345 MMcf/d by the end of 2019 “to meet growing customer demand."
