Oil sands producer Cenovus Energy said it will increase its dividend by 25% while reducing its capital budget for the year as it tries to curry favor with investors. In a new five-year business plan unveiled on Wednesday, Cenovus said it plans to “sustainably” grow shareholder returns and further reduce debt through 2024.
