Petroecuador to Resume Oil Exports

Ecuadorian state oil company has lifted force majeure and resumed crude oil shipments along the Trans-Ecuadorian Pipeline System (SOTE) and expects in coming days to reprogram exports that were halted due to protests. Petroecuador declared force majeure on Oct. 9 and said in an official statement that its decision to lift it on Oct. 20 was due to a quick recovery in oil production, which also allowed it to normalize SOTE shipping operations (OD Oct.21’19).
