Chevron said it has agreed to sell its 45% stake in the Philippines’ key Malampaya gas field, as the US major potentially looks to exit its third major Southeast Asian upstream asset in just over a year. Chevron identified the buyer as Philippine conglomerate Udenna Corporation, whose subsidiaries include private energy player Phoenix Petroleum.
